Toyota Denso multimap builds — Gen 1, Gen 2 and Gen 3
Cabin-switchable calibrations on Toyota’s Denso diesel ECUs, from the V850E on the LandCruiser 70 to the RH850 on the current Hilux. Custom code work built per calibration — not a scaled copy of the stock map in every slot.
Why we build it ourselves
Third-party multimaps for these ECUs are sold as finished products, and we have had them on the bench: slots that were exact copies of the stock calibration, RAM overlaps and DTC tables that had been written over. On a Gen 3 RH850 that is how you end up with a Hilux in limp mode on a job site. Our multimaps come out of the same decompile work as our Toyota definitions and map packs, so every slot is a real calibration and the diagnostic side is left intact.
Generations
Gen 1 — Denso V850E
LandCruiser 70 Series 1VD-FTV (6AE91, 60P90, 6AE40 and more), LandCruiser 200 1VD-FTV, Hilux / Prado / HiAce 1KD and 2KD.
Gen 2 — Denso V850 (2 MB)
Hilux and Fortuner 1GD-FTV / 2GD-FTV, Prado 1GD.
Gen 3 — Denso RH850 (4 MB)
Current Hilux (FAF31 family), 48V Hilux (FAN90), LandCruiser 300 and the 4-cylinder LandCruiser (6AJ80), with TCU shift maps where wanted.
How it works
- Send the read and the 89663-xxxxx software number with your tool.
- We confirm fitment and quote the multimap plus the calibrations you want in each slot.
- The file comes back for you to flash; switching is set up with you on the phone.
- Supported afterwards by the person who built it.

Which Toyota ECUs can have a multimap?
Gen 1 Denso V850E (LandCruiser 70 and 200 1VD-FTV, Hilux/Prado/HiAce 1KD and 2KD), Gen 2 (Hilux and Fortuner 1GD/2GD) and Gen 3 RH850 (current Hilux, LandCruiser 300 and the 4-cylinder LandCruiser). Text the 89663-xxxxx software number and we confirm.
Why not use an off-the-shelf multimap file?
We have pulled apart third-party multimap files for these ECUs and found slots that were byte-for-byte stock copies, RAM overlaps and corrupted DTC tables. Ours is custom code work built per calibration, which is why it is quoted per job.
How is the map switched?
From the cabin using existing controls, set up with you at install. The exact method depends on the generation and the vehicle.
What goes in the slots?
Whatever the vehicle and customer need — stock, tow, economy, Stage 1, Stage 2, a track or sand map. Each slot is a full calibration built in WinOLS from the read.
